Marc and Nhien’s Pacific Tower Wedding in Seattle

Marc and Nhien’s Pacific Tower Wedding

Mark and Nhien decided to use Dubreezy Entertainment’s award winning DJ services for their Pacific Tower Wedding in Seattle on April 29, 2017, after hearing me perform at an open house there. They were really attracted to me by the mix of music I was playing but more specifically “Angel” by Shaggy. It turns out they both love that song.

There was a slight overcast that day but it did not take away from the breathtaking views of the Seattle skyline this venue offers. Aside from the open house, this is the second time, in as many years Dubreezy Entertainment has performed there.

Pacific Tower Wedding Ceremony

There were just under 100 guests expected for this event. As they all arrived, Marc and Nhien chose a mix of soft, top 40 and indie hits from artists like Bruno Mars and Plain White T’s. Once it was time for the ceremony to begin, the processional which included Marc escorting his parents down the aisle followed by two bridesmaids, two groomsmen, a flower girl and the bride was on their way down. The processional song chosen was “Marry Me” by Train that everybody walked down to.

There was nothing that took place during the ceremony that required music so once the ceremony concluded, the recessional song chosen was “Happy” by Pharrell Williams.

Pacific Tower Wedding Reception

At the end of the ceremony, guests headed out into the foyer for cocktail hour while the staff at FareStart catering transformed the room into the reception. We ran a speaker out there so guests could still hear the music. The music selections for cocktail hour were left in the hands of us. We decided, after careful analysis of the crowd, to go with a mix of top 40, reggae, r&b and a little Frank Sinatra type music with a mid to upbeat tempo.

After cocktail hour and the room flip, guests were invited back into the reception room for dinner. It was a plated, individually served dinner.

After dinner was served, it was time for the toast which was given by a bridesmaid and groomsman. The mic was left open for anybody that wanted to toast which included a song sung by a mother and her son that traveled all the way from Japan. Since their English wasn’t that well, she said they would sing a song in Japanese instead.

After everyone spoke that wanted to, Marc and Nhien closed out the toast.

It was then on to cake cutting and the cake cutting song chosen was “Sugar” by Maroon 5. First dance and anniversary dance were next and the songs chosen for those were “Wonderful Tonight” by Eric Clapton and “I Do (Cherish You)” by Mark Wills.

After the special dances, it was just open dancing for the rest of the night up until the last dance which was “Save The Last Dance For Me” by Michael Bublé.

It was such a pleasure working with these two. Here is the five-star review left for us on our wedding wire page. What a way to kickoff wedding season 2017.
