It’s time to put a ring on it, but where? Whether you’re just wondering how you want to propose or you already have that special someone you want to propose to, here are 7 of the best romantic locations in Seattle, Washington where you can slip a ring that finger for good!
7 Best Places to Propose in Seattle, Washington
1. Kerry Park, Lower Queen Anne Hill
When it comes to one of the most iconic and memorable views, Kerry Park fits the image. Located on the slope of Queen Anne Hill in Seattle, this park boasts an incredible view of the city skylines and Mt. Rainier.
Best times to propose to your loved one would be early in the morning and late at night. Nice and private.
2. The Space Needle
Seattle definitely is known for this monumental building, the Space Needle. The infrastructure was built for the World’s Fair in 1962 but has remained timeless and always breath-taking. The Space Needle has the SkyCity Restaurant on the very top that rotates 5 miles per hour constantly changing views.
Talk about an engaging proposal, here’s the place to pop the question!
3. Golden Gardens
If we’re talking, a majestic proposal, Seattle’s Ballard’s Golden Gardens is the place.
The setting sun glows gold on top of the waters of the Puget Sound which gives that much-added magic to your proposal.
4. Japanese Gardens
South of the Washington Park Arboretum, the Japanese Garden is one of the oldest and most authentic Japanese Gardens in the U.S.A. Slip a ring under cherry blossom trees during spring? This is the place.
5. On a Ferry
Due to the Puget Sound’s geography, it allows for one of the largest ferry systems in the world. Ferry’s run constantly bringing people to and from, to name a few, Seattle, Bremerton, Bainbridge Island, and Port Angeles. The boat ride is simply breath-taking as it takes all of Washington’s views to the waters for one of the best places to propose in Seattle.
6. Pike Place Market
Established in 1907, Seattle’s historic public Pike Place Market takes you and your loved one on a memorable destination where Seattle was built around. Full of ambiance, cobblestone streets, and an enchanting ambiance, this place is full of charm. The market is busy with tourists, so my advice is to venture into the depths of this place!
7. Snoqualmie Falls
Are you looking to separate from the busy city and take to nature with your loved one? If so, Snoqualmie Falls may be your answer. The area has breath-taking views of an approximately 300-foot tall waterfall and also plenty of trails to wander off into. Not to mention, there is also a premium hotel resort and spa located right next to it named the Salish Lodge.
Overall, Washington state has plenty more romantic and memorable locations to propose at.
