Dubreezy Entertainment provided DJ entertainment at a Bar Mitzvah party for Oliver at the Russian Community Center in Seattle, WA.
It actually started across the street at a restaurant with a formal dinner from 5pm to 7pm with about 50 people in which we did not participate then the actual Bar Mitzvah party went from 7pm to 10pm. Approximately 100 total people in attendance, 45 kids and 55 adults.
Bar Mitzvah Party Recap
Dubreezy Entertainment provided three team members, a DJ, emcee and an assistant. As guests started to arrive, we had upbeat background music playing and even jumped into a little karaoke while we waited for everyone else to get there. Everyone also received lanyards for the “no” game.
Once everyone arrived, we got started with some Bar Mitzvah games and activities. The first one was the paper airplane challenge in which all participants build a paper airplane to see which one can fly the farthest. Raffle like tickets were given out to the top three.
Then we had a hula hoop contest to see who can hula hoop the longest out of the girls and then out of the boys. Each of those two were rewarded with tickets but then we had a face off. If the girl won then all girls in attendance would receive tickets, if the boy won then all boys would receive tickets. Who do you think won?
We played blindfold name that tune next. This was a game where two teams of five people come up and sit side by side with their teammates and everyone is blindfolded. We did boys vs girls again. Each team is handed the same five letters mixed up and the DJ plays a song. The participants have to figure out the song title then figure out which letter they have and arrange the letters to spell the title by passing them around to each other. The first team to spell the song title wins.
After a little dancing and some fun group dances like the Cupid Shuffle, Cha Cha Slide and the Whip/Nae Nae, it was time for the Hora.
Desserts and drinks were then served by Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes Catering and we continued with some more Bar Mitzvah games. We did the scavenger hunt, thread the needle, junk in the trunk, over/under, ended the “no” game and finished up with the limbo.
After all the games, we collected all the raffle tickets that everyone had won throughout the night and had a high energy dance party that got both the parents and kids involved.
