In recent times, this fun way to dismiss tables at a wedding reception has become more and more popular. It involves interaction, music, laughter, anticipation and excitement.
Instead of the emcee just calling out the tables numbers in a numerical or random order for guests to go through the dinner buffet, we like to make it a little more fun.
How To Dismiss The Tables
You’ll want to come up with a list of songs that mean something to you and your soon to be partner. We can even help you with that.
We’ll take all the tables at your wedding reception and name them a song title.
Now when it comes time for dinner, usually the bride and groom will go first then we’ll send the wedding party through and in some cases we’ll send family members through and then we’ll get to the fun part.
Let’s say there are 15 tables remaining so that means there are 15 songs.
Our DJs will play a song from that list and when that song is played, the table with that song title will get to go get dinner next.
We will announce after a few seconds the song title just in case someone doesn’t know the song.
It makes for a very entertaining way to dismiss tables at a wedding reception.
