Five Ideas for 40th Birthday
Here are some amazing ideas for 40th birthday celebration you should try:
• Greet yourself and call your parents.
Upon waking up on your birthday, greet yourself and say a little prayer. Afterwards, call your parents; especially if you have not spoken with them for months. If you have the luxury of time, do not hesitate to drive few miles to visit them. Life is short; do reconnect with people who mean the most to you!
• Take a day off from work and do some shopping.
On your birthday, do not rush to the bathroom to take a shower. Instead, lay in bed as long as you want. When you’re ready to get up, prepare and go to the mall. In addition to the things you need, buy the things you WANT. It’s your birthday, give yourself a special treat!
• File for a vacation leave.
This is self-explanatory. As we have mentioned, you have spent almost half of your life working. Take a break!
• Try extreme sports.
There is a saying that goes, “When you are young, you have time and energy but no money. When you become an adult, you have energy and money but no time. When you get old, you have time and money but no energy.” This saying signifies you have to make the most out of life while you are young. Trying extreme sports is the best example. Do not wait until you become too old to try bungee jumping, mountain climbing, white-water rafting, paragliding or skydiving!
• Dine at classy restaurants and/or try exotic foods.
Have you been eating in fast-food chains and second-rate restaurants in the attempt to save? Now that it’s your birthday, dine at classy restaurants and enjoy a bottle of fine wine. You can even try eating exotic foods. Try new things every once in a while!
These are just some of the many ideas for 40th birthday.
