It was the second time in the last six months Dubreezy Entertainment performed DJ services for a Bat Mitzvah at the Sunset Hill Community Club in Seattle, WA. This one was set for 6pm to 9pm however everyone was having such a great time, they decided to extend the party for an extra hour.
Sydney’s Fun Bat Mitzvah Recap
As guests arrived, there were drinks and appetizers available provided by Ry’s Table catering, a henna tattoo artist from Sahar Education and a photo booth provided by Denard Productions.
We kept the background music upbeat and fun with selections from Adele, Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson and more.
Dinner was then served and once dinner completed, tables were moved out of the way for dancing because, as the family mentioned, “everyone will dance.”
Once all the tables and chairs were cleared away, there were two special performances. The first was an acapella song from two friends and the second was a song from the guest of honor Sydney and her friend on the guitar.
Uncle Jono provided some Israeli folk dancing lessons. He taught three different dances. The first one was to “Zemir Atik” the second to “Mayim Mayim” and the third, which was a crowd favorite, to “Yesh Lanu Tayish.” Here is a video of the third dance after he taught the lesson…
We immediately went into the Hora after the dance lessons, here is a quick clip of that…
After the Hora, it was just a dance party all the way until 10:00pm. Music from Katy Perry, Meghan Trainor, Kool and the Gang and of course some line dances like “Cha Cha Slide,” “Whip/Nae Nae” and we ended the night with the “Y.M.C.A.”
Here are some pics from the photo booth…
