It was a 90 minute drive from Seattle, WA up to the Majestic Inn and Spa in Anacortes, WA to DJ a Thursday evening wedding ceremony and reception.
This venue has a very nice interior house sound system so setup was quick and easy. Just plug in my turntables and a mic into their system and we were ready to go.
DJ and MC services were provided since there were a lot of interactive games and activities set for this wedding.
Majestic Inn and Spa Wedding Ceremony
Since the bride was a huge Celine Dion fan, the prelude music had a lot of her mixed in along with some music from The Fray, Stevie Wonder and Monica.
The ceremony got started and lasted about 15 minutes long.
Here are the songs chosen for the ceremony:

- Bride Processional Song: Richard Wagner – “Wedding March”
- Recessional Song: Meghan Trainor – “Dear Future Husband”
Once the ceremony concluded, guests were sent out to the courtyard while the staff at the Majestic Inn and Spa transitioned the room from the ceremony to the reception.

Once the room was ready, guests were invited back inside for music and cocktails and immediately started playing the “NO” game.
Shortly after, the MC requested for everyone to take their seats in preparation for dinner and the grand entrance of the bride and groom. The couple chose “Let Me Love You” by Ne-Yo as their grand entrance song.
We sent the bride and groom followed by the wedding party and immediate family members through the buffet first and then the rest of the tables were dismissed by answering trivia questions.
Once all guests went through the buffet, we got the toasts started and once those finished, we did the wedding shoe game. Since we used lighted batons, we decided to call it the just got married game. Here is a video clip of the game.
Once that finished, it was off to cake cutting, first dance, a special bride/mother dance, groom/mother dance and a wedding party dance. Here are the songs chosen for these:

- Bride/Mother Sing: Lauren Alaina – “Like My Mother Does”

- Wedding Party Dance Song: Pink – “Raise Your Glass”
All guests were invited out to join the wedding party and that was the official opening of the dance floor. For dance music, it was a fun mix of top 40, country and a little classic rock.
The last song of the night chosen by the bride and groom was:
- Last Dance Song: John Tyree – “All I Ever Wanted”
