We get asked “what type of DJ equipment do you use?” quite often. This post will go over the details of the professional DJ equipment we use.
We Use Professional DJ Equipment
SPEAKERS
For our main speakers, that you hear all the music and announcements through, we use the Mackie SRM450v2.
We normally bring two of them. We also bring more for satellite speakers for larger crowds.
WIRELESS MICROPHONES
For our wireless microphone system that’s used for toasts, speeches and announcements, we use the Shure PGXD Digital Wireless System.
We also carry a backup corded Shure SM58 Vocal Microphone.
LED DANCE FLOOR LIGHTING
We use a variety of different LED dance floor lighting fixtures from American DJ and Chauvet.
Different events need different lighting effects.
WIRELESS RF REMOTE UPLIGHTING
For our uplighting, we use the Mini Tower RGBW Wireless RF Remote Uplight made by Colorado Sound N’ Light.
These uplights are small and compact but pack a big beam.

- We use nothing but high performance sound cables to reduce interference for outside signals.
