Seattle wedding DJ Dubre Hayes aka DJ DUBREEZY performs at an Edmonds library wedding in the plaza room upstairs.
This Snohomish County wedding venue has a spectacular view of the Puget Sound with lots of ferry traffic to see too. It can also be used for indoor or outdoor or both.
For this Edmonds library wedding, the original plan was to have the ceremony outdoors, dinner indoors and dancing back outdoors but since there was rain in the forecast, we decided to still have the ceremony outdoors, still have dinner indoors but move dancing to indoors.
Edmonds Library Wedding Ceremony
As guests started to arrive, the couple provided their own mix of music to have played during the prelude. Artists like Darius Rucker, Tom Jones and Frank Sinatra were included in the playlist.
Once the ceremony started, the couple selected the following songs:
- Wedding Party Processional – “Canon in D” by Pachelbel
- Bride Processional – “Bridal Chorus” (Here Comes The Bride) by Richard Wagner
- Recessional – “Wedding March” by Mendelssohn and “Happy” by Pharrell Williams

After the ceremony, guests were invited to have cocktails outside while the wedding coordinator Amber and the rest of the Cheers Wedding and Event Planning staff started moving the chairs inside for dinner.
After dinner and toasts, the newlyweds were surprised by three special performances from some of their close friends.
Then we did the cake cutting ceremony to “Cut The Cake” by Average White Band.
Then it was time for their first dance. The song they chose was “At Last” by Etta James.
The bride and groom requested that all their guests join them on the dance floor to celebrate their first dance with them.
No other special dances or events were scheduled so it was time to dim the lights and start the dance party.
