DJ Dubre Hayes performs at a Druids Glen wedding ceremony and reception over the weekend for Jody and Steve. The weather was a perfect 82 degrees with a light breeze to keep it cool. DUBREEZY ENTERTAINMENT was setup and ready to go at 4:00 pm and the first guests started to arrive at around 4:15 pm.
For the prelude music, classical music was chosen and the ceremony got started around 5:20 pm.
Druids Glen Wedding Ceremony
The wedding processional music chosen as the wedding party walked down the aisle was “Canon in D” and the bride came down the aisle to a different song which was the Wedding March or “Here Comes The Bride.”During the ceremony, there was a sand ceremony. The song chosen for that was an instrumental version of “Every Breath You Take” by the Police but this was performed by Cresta Verde String Quartet.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the recessional song was Kenny Loggins “Danger Zone.”
Druids Glen Wedding Reception
Since this couple added a separate wedding ceremony sound system, the transition from ceremony to reception was smooth. No down time for music.Country music was the main genre of music they wanted so we got on a mix of country background music for weddings from artists such as George Strait, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan and many more.
After the bride and groom were finished signing the marriage license and taking pictures it was time for their grand entrance. The grand entrance song they chose was Gretchen Wilson – “Here For The Party.”
Dinner was provided by the Druids Glen catering team.
After cake cutting (Blake Shelton – “Honey Bee”) and toast, it was time for the special dances:
- First Dance: Brad Paisley – “She’s Everything”
- Bride/Father Dance: Tim McGraw – “My Little Girl”
- Groom /Mother Dance: Tim McGraw – “Meanwhile Back At Mama’s House”
- Wedding Party Dance: Garth Brooks – “Friends In Low Places”
- Anniversary Dance: Alan Jackson – “Remember When”
We got the party going with a mix of songs from hip-hop and classic rock but still focused on country music.
One of the highlights of the night was a gentleman requested Warrant – “Cherry Pie” and did a complete strip show that got everyones attention. The picture is kind of dark but here it is:
We got the bouquet toss and garter toss out the way too and ended the night with Luke Bryan – “I Don’t Want This Night To End.”
- Bouquet Toss: Little Big Town – “Little White Church”
- Garter Removal: Jimi Hendrix – “Foxey Lady”
- Garter Toss: Toby Keith – “A Little Less Talk And A Lot More Action”
