10 Wedding Anniversary Dance Songs

Whether or not you use one or two anniversary dance songs at your wedding, the most important factor to consider when choosing one is the length of time the anniversary dance is.

If you’re going to go with one song, you want to make sure the song is at least four minutes long. This will allow your DJ enough time to get through all the years without feeling or sounding rushed.

Here are some of my favorite anniversary dance songs I like to use while performing the anniversary dance at weddings.

Favorite Anniversary Dance Songs

Al Green – “Let’s Stay Together”

Israel Kamakawiwo’ole – “Somewhere Over The Rainbow & What A Wonderful World”

Luther Vandross – “Always And Forever”

Alan Jackson – “Remember When”

Diana Ross and Lionel Richie – “Endless Love”

Using Two Anniversary Dance Songs

There are some situations when two anniversary dance songs are needed. If there is a song that you really want to use and it’s under four minutes, just pick a second one and the DJ can play both of them back to back.

If it’s timed out right, the DJ should be about halfway through the dance at the end of the first song.

Here are some anniversary dance song ideas that are not as long as the ideas above.

Nat King Cole and Natalie Cole – “Unforgettable”

The Beatles – “In My Life”

Shania Twain – “You’re Still The One”

Stevie Wonder – “You Are The Sunshine Of My Life”

Ben E. King – “Stand By Me”
