Pacific Tower Seattle Wedding Venue

The Pacific Tower in Seattle, WA is a wedding and event venue. It’s in the old Amazon.com headquarters. The venue is exclusive to FareStart catering.

There was an open house there for guests to come in and check out the newest venue from FareStart.

This will be a review of the Pacific Tower Seattle Wedding Venue as I see it through the eyes of a DJ.

Pacific Tower Seattle Wedding Ceremony

Let’s start with the ceremony.

At this open house, the venue was setup with the ceremony outside on the lawn. It’s all held under a tent. Here a few photos I took during my visit.

The lawn can be setup for any amount under 750 people. This was a small setup for 48.

Don’t forget to check with the venue to see if they have a back up plan in case of bad weather.

Pacific Tower Seattle Wedding Reception

Now to the fun part – the wedding reception.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, guests walk a short distance to the Pacific Tower and head up to the eighth floor to a panoramic room overlooking Downtown Seattle and the Puget Sound.

Once you step off the elevator, there is a very welcoming foyer area before you step into the room. The views were the first thing I noticed when I walked in.

The picture at the top of this post was my favorite as it has a great view of the downtown Seattle skyline.

Here is another great one that shows Safeco Field, Century Link Stadium and the Puget Sound. You can see I just missed the sunset.

The venue already sits on a hill and for the panoramic room to only be on the eighth floor, it’s almost the perfect level to see everything.

Pacific Tower Seattle Extras

Just a few other things I noticed during my visit is that there are only two elevators that can take your guests up so note that it may take some time for all your guests to get back up from the ceremony.

The bar is centrally located as the room is shaped like a half circle. The bar is in the middle of the flat side of the circle with entrances to the room on either side.

If you decide to have your ceremony and reception at this venue and hire a DJ, you might want to consider having your DJ bring two sound systems to avoid a delay in music once all guests get upstairs.

Also uplighting. This venue has pillars along the outside of the half circle shape that looks great when they are lit up. Here is a photo to give you somewhat of an idea.

Last thing about this venue is how cool would it be to say “We got married at the old Amazon.com headquarters” to all you friends and family.
