Imagine Your Wedding At Laurel Creek Manor

Laurel Creek Manor is an outdoor wedding venue in Sumner, WA. It was also the site of a recent wedding that I performed DJ entertainment for along with the help of an emcee.

Rain was in the forecast in the days leading up to the wedding but fortunately there ended up only being a light shower or two and it had no impact on the wedding festivities.

There were approximately 125 guests in attendance and here’s how everything went.

Laurel Creek Manor Wedding Ceremony

The prelude music mix was selected by the couple and they chose to go with a mix of Vitamin String Quartet, The Piano Guys and other similar artists. Their style is to take popular songs and cover them using string instruments. Here is an example of their style using “Earned It” by The Weeknd:

And here is the original song:

When the ceremony started, the processional song chosen was “A Thousand Years” by The Piano Guys. The seating of the parents and wedding party processional both took place during this song.

The bride walked down the aisle to “Canon In D” by Brian Crain

Nothing during the ceremony required music of any kind so the recessional song was an instrumental version of “Viva La Vida” by Coldplay.

Cocktail hour music was also selected by the couple and had a heave dose of Michael Buble along with some Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra.

The newlyweds were introduced to “Felling Good” by Michael Buble and mingled for awhile with their guests.

Dinner was next as guests were called to their seats and after the bride, groom and wedding party were sent through the buffet, the tables were then dismissed one by one.

Once all guests went through the buffet, the best man and maid of honor gave a special toast

After toasts, it was off to the cake cutting. The song selected for that was left up for me to choose so I went with “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)” by James Taylor.

The rest of the songs for the traditions were:

  • First Dance:  Brad Paisley – “Then”
  • Bride/Father Dance:  Kaeli’i Reichel – “Melelana”
  • Bouquet Toss:  Beyonce – “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)”
  • Last Dance:  Michael Buble – “A Song For You”
