Thomas and Courtney’s Golden Gardens Bathhouse Wedding in Seattle

A Golden Gardens Bathhouse Wedding in Seattle

It turned out to be a perfect 70-degree day in Seattle for Thomas and Courtney’s beach wedding at Golden Gardens Park Bathhouse and Dubreezy Entertainment was on deck to provide wedding DJ services.

Since this venue is on the beach and it was one of the nicest days in Seattle in 2017, there were a lot of people already out. Thomas and Courtney added approximately 115 of their closest friends and relatives to witness the celebration.

Golden Gardens Bathhouse Wedding Ceremony

Quite a big wedding party for this one, six total couples, a flower girl, ring bearer and of course the bride and groom. It was a traditional ceremony that lasted about 20 minutes.

Here are the songs used for the ceremony.

  • Processional Song (Wedding Party) – “Stand by Me” by Ben E. King
  • Processional Song (Bride) – “Canon in D” by Konrad Kono
  • Recessional Song – “Can’t Hold Us” by Macklemore

There was also a poem read and a prayer from a couple of their guests.

After the ceremony ended, guests had two options to either hang out outside on the beach or in the next room over where the bar was while the room got flipped for the reception.

Golden Gardens Bathhouse Wedding Reception

Guests were invited back inside to their assigned tables for a family style dinner provided by Skillet Catering.

Before the dinner came out, we heard a welcome speech from the Bride’s parents who thanked everyone for coming and gave shout outs to all the people who traveled from other states and countries.

Dinner came out and once everyone was served we went into the toast. The best man and maid of honor gave a toast and then the bride and groom said a few words after that.

Immediately after they spoke, I brought them over to the wedding cake for a cake cutting ceremony.

  • Cake Cutting Song – “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch)” by The Four Tops

Right after cake cutting, there was a little downtime while the catering staff broke down a few tables to make room for a dance floor to allow the bride and groom to enjoy their first dance together as husband and wife.

The first dance for this couple was performed by friends. I managed to get a clip of it on video, take a look…

After the first dance, Thomas and Courtney decided to do their bride/father and groom/mother dances together.

  • Parent dance song – “Have I Told You Lately” by Van Morrison

After the parent dance, it was just an open dance floor all the way until the last song of the night.

  • Last Dance Song – “Downtown” by Macklemore
