A Quick Lesson in DJ 101

We’ve traveled as far south as Portland, OR, as far north as Blaine, WA, as far west as Ocean Shores, WA and as far east as Moscow, ID. We’ve even done some destination events.

We absolutely take requests however our clients do have an option to not allow the DJ to take requests at their event.

On a typical DJ setup we need about one hour to setup and about 30 minutes to tear down.

It is also at the DJs discretion, some DJs like two hours to setup.

Lastly, if there is extra equipment (fog machine, uplighting, etc.) then more time will be needed.

You will never be charged for setup and tear down time.  It is always included with your DJ package.

Yes. Our DJ’s will provide all emcee duties. Specifics on what exactly will be done will be discussed during the planning process.

More often than not, it won’t be a problem. It’s subject to the availability of the DJ. If your event is scheduled to be over and you decide you want your event to continue, simply ask the DJ if he or she is available to stay later. If the DJ is available, payment for overtime services are due at the time they are requested. Your hourly overtime rate will be in the DJ entertainment agreement and we bill in 30 minute increments.

The price of an event is determined by a lot of factors. Location, length of time, amount of guests and more information is needed to provide an accurate quote. Once a quote has been provided, a final price would then be provided once all the details have been discussed. See a more detailed explanation of DJ services prices and the information needed.

We use a variety of professional DJ equipment at events. We use the products from Pioneer, American DJ and more. Click here for a detailed description of the DJ equipment we use.
